Could this be the next big thing in video game graphics?

Recently this video was posted by Euclideon claiming to be making a graphics technology that was 100,000 times better then what is currently being used in games today. If what they say is true it could completely revolutionize to world of video games. But if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

John Carmack from Id software said on his twitter:

Re Euclideon, no chance of a game on current gen systems, but maybe several years from now. Production issues will be challenging.

Notch, creator of Minecraft says: it's a scam! He thinks that the demo they show in the video would take up least 512 petabytes of space which is WAY too big for any home computers in the foreseeable future.

Personally I am pretty exited about this but will also be pretty skeptical until I see it being used in a game. We will see just how viable this technology really is when the SDK is released, which should just be "months from now"
